CPVC Pipes

CPVC Pipes

Neproplast CPVC pipes are designed for hot and cold water supply, manufactured in accordance with ASTM F 441. With excellent heat resistance, superior mechanical strength, and corrosion resistance, these gray CPVC pipes provide a durable, long-lasting alternative to traditional metal piping for residential, commercial, and industrial plumbing systems.

Description

Neproplast CPVC pipes, made from chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC), are engineered to deliver safe, reliable water transport in both hot and cold systems. Produced according to ASTM F 441, these pipes combine high thermal stability with mechanical robustness, ensuring long-term performance under varying pressure and temperature conditions.

Key Features:

  • Excellent heat resistance, suitable for hot water up to 90°C (194°F) continuous service.

  • Lightweight and easy to handle, reducing installation time and labor costs.

  • Corrosion-resistant, making them ideal for aggressive water chemistry or areas prone to rust.

  • Smooth internal surface reduces friction losses and minimizes scaling and biofilm formation.

  • Gray color allows easy identification for hot and cold water lines in plumbing systems.

Standard Compliance:

  • ASTM F 441: Standard specification for CPVC plastic pipes for hot- and cold-water distribution.

  • Material: Chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC), Type I, Grade 1.

Dimensions & Tolerances:

  • Pipes produced in standard nominal diameters ranging from DN15 to DN200 (½”–8”) or larger depending on system needs.

  • Complies with OD, wall thickness, and length tolerances defined in ASTM F 441.

Performance Requirements:

  • Pressure Ratings: Typically rated for 10–20 bar (varies by diameter) at 23°C, with reduced pressure ratings at elevated temperatures up to 90°C.

  • Temperature Ratings: Continuous service up to 90°C, short-term up to 100°C.

  • Mechanical Strength: High impact and tensile strength, resistant to cracking and deformation under normal handling and installation stresses.

  • Chemical Resistance: Resistant to corrosion, scaling, and aggressive water chemistry.

Applications:

  • Hot and cold water distribution in residential, commercial, and industrial plumbing systems.

  • Hydronic heating systems and other closed-loop hot water applications.

  • Suitable for corrosion-prone or chemically aggressive environments, replacing traditional metal piping.

Advantages:

  • Long service life with minimal maintenance.

  • Lightweight and easy to cut, join, and install.

  • Safe for potable water, meeting required health and safety standards.
